The trend.
New movies for 2009 are looking way amazing. Two that I haven't seen, but really want to see are "The Blind Side" and "2012". But the major box office opener is "New Moon"! I had to pleasure of seeing it on Saturday (Nov. 21st) and was blown away with how they did things. Sure, it was slightly rushed and they threw a lot in with the two hour time slot, but I loved it. The ending slayed me, though... since it shouldn't have happened till Eclipse. But who cares, it makes for a great cliffhanger.
It's pretty funny how seeing a movie can trigger so many funny conversations between friends. One of my best friends and I have so many weird "werewolf" convo's almost every night, and a few spots throughout the day, as well. I cry, sometimes, till it hurts... mostly from laughing at the crazy things we end up saying. It's a good time and makes things that much better.
Alright, that is all for now. Maybe I can try to promise myself to keep coming on here a few more times... and not in say, eight months. ;)

Why do I even bother with this?
Anyways, cutting to the chase. Parents divorce may be final in Mid-March. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the court date does not get pushed back any further than that. We've put up with it for too long and it's just time for it to be over.
As for more news, concerning my father... he informs me that he has someone in his life. Her name is Ashley. Apparently, he says they are very fond of each other. So much, that he wanted to take her to my cousin Tracy's wedding in May. But thankfully, he said he shrugged that idea off, seeing as this is a family affair. Not "bring your whore to a family function" type thing. BUT then, oh yes, it gets better. He tells me he asked her to come to Bayfield with him in the Summer, for the 4th of July. I was all, "oh hell NO". So I immediately told my sister, who told our mom... and we now have reservations at the Winfield, in our Condo 21, for the 4th of July weekend. The reason for the early reservation, is because Mom and Liz simply said, they don't want to miss out on any of the "fun".
I don't blame them, I'm curious to know what this girl is like and even looks like. The name Ashley just makes me think young... which obviously won't surprise me if she is. She's not the first and maybe not the last. Anyways, my Auntie's will chew her up and spit her out. They are loud, fun, can be obnoxious (lol)... so I hope this girl is ready for the blunt truth about things. Cause that's the way they will be coming!
That is all for today.

Recap of 2008
I suppose I could start with the ugly thing first. I suppose it's nothing really new. My parent's divorce is STILL going on. And it's not getting any closer to being over, which is what my mom, sister and I really want. My dad just calls it "a bad nightmare that never ends". Which I suppose is true. Anyways, that's the ugliest of news that I have.
*************************************
And now onto the best things that have happened this year!
May 2008-- New Kids on the Block announced their reunion/tour!! Who WOULDN'T be excited about that??
And because of that reunion, everything came pouring back to me. Especially how I used to be a Jordan Knight girl when I wasn't even old enough to be liking guys, haha. To the memories of listening to their tapes with my friend when we were younger, to when I followed both Jordan and Joey's solo careers. I was WAY excited. And to make it even better, Amanda kept asking me if I wanted to go to a NKOTB concert. I was really skeptical at first. How would they perform? How would they look and sound?
*Well, the two of us had originally planned to go to one concert at the time. And that one concert would have been the Minneapolis, MN concert on Oct. 21, 2008. Well, in August, I was at home doing things, when I got a text message from Amanda, saying something along the lines of "NKOTB AT MALL OF AMERICA ON AUGUST 8TH!!!!" I freaked out! But then my excitement came shooting down when I noticed I had to work on that day. Well, that's what they thought. I called in sick, :-D. Amanda and I made the trip to Minnesota the night before the big event. People could start lining up at 4AM. Well... with about 3 hours of sleep, Amanda and I got to the Mall about 4:30AM. And only a few minutes later, we were being approached by Celeste! Amanda and Celeste had been talking online and agreed to meet up at the Mall, so we all met and stayed together the whole time.
*The three of us had stayed at the mall for over 16+ hours, just to see the guys perform 3 songs and to get a quickie "HI/BYE" meet & greet. But OHH was it worth it! The performance was great (Summertime, Tonight & Single). And the M&G was amazing! I had great experiences with Joe, Jon (gorgeous in person!!), Donnie (I got my first Donnie hug from him!!!!) and Danny, of course! Jordan was iffy, but I don't blame him, lol.
And after that day, everything just got more and more crazy. At the time, Amanda and I added two more concerts to our list: October 4th in Chicago and then in Milwaukee on the 22nd of October.
Which brings me into my next great moments of 2008! The trip to Chicago, which also brought more friends along, included: Celeste and her friends, Allison and Sharla, Amanda and I. The 5 of us being crowded in Celeste's car for 2 and a half hours was definitely fun times! But on October 4th, everything just got so much better. We were all ready to go by Noon and piled into the car around 12:20 to head to the arena to scope things out. Well, long story short: security guards with evil glares, parking in Target parking lot, large group of girls, walking past Donnie Wahlberg, more girls... wait, WALKED PAST DONNIE WAHLBERG?? Indeed, Celeste and I did. But the end result was amazing and I got a great picture with him and his arm around my shoulders, ending with his hand running through my hair, rubbing my neck, him smiling and saying HI in an oh, so sexy voice. :-]]]]

It's been a while... yet again.
So yeah, we finally get to meet them now. We waited about an hour before we even got close to the table. Of course, the line was held up when Mr. Jordan Knight had to excuse himself from the table and go to the bathroom.. that took like 10 minutes. When he got back Joey began praising him and waving his arms, lol. When we were two lines away from the table we were yelling Joey's name, and he waved to our section a few times.
Anyways, finally, we're near the stage. I told Celeste she needed to go first. Amanda volunteered to go second, leaving me last. Which meant I was going to be left at the table. Rotfl. But anyways, Jordan was first... gave me the cold shoulder... grr! But he signed my laminate and passed it to Joey. Joey signed it, and then handed it to me. Then he looked up at me, smiled and said, "HI!" I said, "HI!" back and stuck my hand out to shake his, rotfl. He shook it and I had to laugh, lmfaoo. But then, Jon turn. Omg, I could have fainted. That man is gorgeous in person. His smile, his eyes, the touch of his hand... *swoon* But of course, I came down from Jon's cloud the moment I stepped in front of Donnie. My main man. He signed my laminate and then looked at me while saying, "Hey girl." I smiled and quickly said, "I know I shouldn't, but can I have a hug?" He smiled again and leaned over the table and wrapped me in his arms. *melt* It was amazing!! I was in such a daze, that I almost walked off the stage then, forgetting Danny was last (not intentionally!!) But a security guard was in the way once I stopped at the end of the table. And before I know it, there's a head coming around the side of the guard, and it's Danny! Smiling at me as he reaches for my hand to shake, saying "thanks for coming tonight". But then Donnie tried handing me the laminate of the girl behind me, and Danny looks at him and says, "No". He smiles at me again and hands me my laminate, and I quickly said "thanks!"
So I walked off the stage and grabbed purse, with a permanent smile on my face. They officially made that day worth everything!!
And now, over a month later, I'm still on a NKOTB high! And to top it off, I will be attending three more concerts within one month! My first one is coming up in 9 days! October 4th. Amanda and I have 4 star, which means a seat within rows 11-20, which is pretty good. And we also get a necklace that glows in the dark, a bandana and something else I can't remember.
And on October 21st, Amanda and I will be attending the concert at the Xcel Energy center, regular tickets. And the next day will be the best of all! We have 5 star tickets, which means VIP pre-party with the new kids themselves! And getting seats in rows 1-10!! The pre-party gets us a photo op with the guys and facetime! =] Hopefully Amanda and I can sneak in a picture with Jonathan!
Either way, I am very excited about all of this. I can't wait and it will be very memorable.

Long time, no see or write.
Yes, a bear. And not a small bear. No, it was quite a nice sized one, that just wandered out into the street from the side of the road. My mom, sister and I all had our heads turned, admiring the shooting range that they had on the right side of the road. And when we turn our heads straight, my sister slams on the breaks only about 8 feet from this bear. I get strangled by my seat belt, my mom is yelling for joy (she's wanted to see a bear up here for as long as I can remember), and the dog goes slamming into the back of my sister's seat. So naturally, my sister and I are having heart attacks and our mom is mad because we didn't have a camera.... sure mom, we're about to slam into a huge bear, I'll snap a picture or scream for my life. I chose to scream for my life.
I won't lie, my heartbeat didn't return normal for a few hours. Only because the roads up in Bayfield/Washburn area, have large wooded areas, perfect for willing bears to come walking out of them, and do it quite often. But we made it to our hotel without anymore visitors.
The weather was perfect every single day. No higher than 75 during the day, and close to 55 degrees at night. It was Heaven. All thanks to the wonder Lake Superior:
So anyways, we get to see our relatives, which are always a blast when we see them. My aunties are so much fun. And now that I am 21, I was welcomed into the bar and casino on the Res, without having to worry about someone IDing me. But half of my relatives work there and don't care. Besides, it was my aunt who wanted to sneak me into the casino last year, because I didn't look my age... :] But we won't discuss that.
Anyways, after the first night of losing 20 bucks, we found out my cousin Randy was working at a new job, a bar called Gill Net-Tug. It was located in the middle of Indian country (which means the middle of nowhere). So my cousin Michelle offered to drive my auntie fatso, my dad, my sister and I to the bar. My aunt geri was a speed demon and was already there when we arrived. So we all walked in and found a seat at the bar. Good thing there wasn't anyone there except the owner and some girl, because when we came in, we took over.
So my sister and I order cranberry and vodka, my dad has a screwdriver, auntie fatso had a bloody mary, and I have no idea what Geri had. I lost track of everything after a while. In the end, I believe I had 3 vodkas and cranberries, a shot of tequila (with training wheels, lmfao).. and that's it.
So my dad and sister weren't drunk, since they both had to operate vehicles later that night. So at midnight, after we all became pumpkins and embarrassed Randy like no other, he kicked us out and cut us off. On the way out of the door, my auntie fatso grabbed my butt.. So we all sardined ourselves back into Michelle's car, and headed back to the casino so the rest of us could get home.
Mom didn't care that I was drunk and almost picked flowers for her from the garden outside of the hotel. But I grabbed some crackers and forgot to put the rest of them away, and went to go pass out.
The rest of the trip was spent either at the hotel, with the relatives, and the casino with the relatives, or driving to Ashland to go gambling and do some shopping at Wal-Mart. And the 4th of July fireworks were amazing, right on Lake Superior. They were a great show.
We decided to have a cook out at our place on the Saturday (July 5) before we would head back to La Crosse. We had a huge deck and patio with our condo, so we invited the family over. Geri, Tracy, Bugger and their baby showed up, and dad did too. Once the watermelon was served, Auntie Fatso and Randy showed up before they had to go to work. It was a nice little meeting, except Mary Jane didn't seem to fond of Aunt Geri's puppy, Tischa. They were very territorial, haha.
The next day sucked, we packed and were early for once in our lives. We headed out to the Northern Edge, where Aunt Geri bought us breakfast. After saying goodbyes, we headed back into town and went up to the cemetary to see Grandma and Grandpa's gravestones. After that, we went down to Rita's store, which is down near the Pier Plaza and Madeline Island ferry landing. Such a near store, with many hand made things (by Rita, of course) and so many people seem to over look her shop. It's too bad, how many people can come home with hand made dreamcatchers, or birchwood paper baskets/ christmas ornaments?
With the touristy shopping out of the way, we began our trip home. And as usual, halfway home, I wanted to turn the van around and come right back. Bayfield is the place to be, minus the 'damn tourists' (as my late grandpa and uncle dale would say). But again, I will have to wait till next year to see the wonder sights that is Bayfield, WI.

and then there was... sickness.
Sounds pleasant. But sadly, thanks to my symptoms, I had to call into work on Friday (yesterday). God knows I can't afford to be missing work. Not with a big trip coming up and with bills to pay! Heavens no.
Well with my sickness, it has kept me off of the computer until tonight, but also planted me in front of the good old television. And I have come to the conclusion that there are no good shows on during the days. I had to settle watching shows on MSNBC about a man who killed young women for pleasure and whatever else. He got the death penalty. Then I watched a show about a shizophrenic man who pushed a girl onto the Subway tracks in New York, which with common sense, caused her to get hit by the train and die.
It sounds extremely morbid, and it was, but honestly, there was nothing else on. So I scared myself into visions of that someday happening to either myself or someone I know. Gah, yeah, subject change. *shivers*
I got to go shopping tonight. For the first time in the looongest time. Ended up buying two pairs of pants, three shirts and a new sweatshirt. All are very amazing. But for now, I am going to get going.
Peace.

It's that time...
So, today is the last day that my Jonas Brothers tickets are selling on ebay. I'm kind of sad to sell them, but sadly, things come up and we can't go. Soo, thankfully the money Sullie and I will be getting will be going to a greattt cause. Our foundation for traveling to Pittsburgh, PA, to see our loves playing a mean game of HOCKEY. I'm stoked. I can't wait to see Army <3
Let's see, what else is going on for today. Oh, my mom and I went to my Great Aunt's funeral this morning. It was a nice ceremony. I didn't cry. Not that I didn't want to, but just because I didn't know her very well, and we didn't get to spend much time together. I nearly froze my behind off walking in the cemetary.
Note to self: next time, bring comfy shoes AND socks.
I also got to see my Great Uncle Wayne. He's looking great for his age, and was really pulling out the jokes. I love him, and I love him even more for calling me one gorgeous gal. Haha, love that humor! ;)
Well, that was my day in a not so small nutshell. OH well. I'm off for now, as I wait patiently for my ebay auction to end. Goodnight to all.
